I studied him for my poetry exam as a n example of how poets utilise poetry to engage with politics. Strange to think that he died nearly a week later.
Also, Leonora Carrington died this week, I read her freaking surreal The Hearing Trumpet, for my course, it is like Roald Dahl on LSD (in a good way).
It’s like if I study them and they’re still alive, they will die pretty soon. Apparently Margaret Atwood is next…..
